First State Bank & Trust is a reliable, local bank to open a savings or checking account, but more! Around the space, there are displays depicting Perry’s history. Even more, near the entrance, there is a little Pocket Museum that showcases an in depth view of what Perry used to look like and what life was like for its citizens. Updated yearly!
Love historical downtowns and sitting in the shade?
This Historic Mighty Oak Park offers panoramic view of Perry’s small downtown, and offers a long history with the area. The site was initially the water pump and trough for weary horses coming through the area in the 1800s. In the 1890s. Over the next few decades, the original Dutch Elm tree soon replaced the pump. In the 1970s, the Dutch Elm had to be replaced due to diseases, and an oak was later donate by Clyde Tyron. Today, it serves as a reminder of how strong our community is and how we preserver anything that comes our way. When visiting, be safe and attentive of your surroundings!

Willkomm Trails offers a unique and tranquil environment. If you have been once, you will want to go back! What is even better, at the end of this trail, you can experience the shore of the Kansas River! It is ill advised to go out on the sand bar! Make sure to bring some bug spray!
Named after a former of Mayor of Perry (1991-2007), the late Mr. Matt Willkomm , the City of Perry honors his hard work and dedication to the community. We will forever remember Mr. Matt Willkomm.
Railroad Park

Are you someone that enjoys running around, Fire Trucks, Trains, or all the above?
This little park is located behind the Kentucky Township Fire Department/Community Hall, and located offset from the railroad. This fenced in area allows anyone to play, lounge or watch trains! May need to bring ear plugs for sensitive ears!
Perry Rural School Track & Field

Trying to find a place to walk that is more secluded and is pet safe?
This is the original track to the late Perry Rural High School. Built in the 1930s, this track and field served as Perry Rural School and USD 343’s sports area until the early 2000s. Now, being a little overgrown, it still offers a peaceful place to walk, jog or run. If you have a dog(s), this is a great place for them to play fetch or just run. Please do pick up droppings!
